Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to handle returns and promotional materials. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling, and maintain shop cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires safe driving, effective communication, basic math, and the ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores and drop off sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts and build relationships with key customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock inventory including back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
