Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to deliver parts to pro customers, manage returns, and promote sales programs. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while contributing to inventory accuracy and store upkeep.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, safe driving, and the ability to learn about new products and sales strategies. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogues.
• Basic math skills for transactions and measurements.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to learn about new products and selling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP with insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Other duties as assigned.
