Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Cedar Springs, MI is looking for a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and manage returns. You will promote sales, handle credit accounts, and build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while supporting CPP insights.

You will also assist with upselling, maintain store cleanliness, stock parts, and engage with walk-in customers to advise on parts and services. Flexible shifts and valid license required.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs
• Basic math for transactions and measurements
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
