Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Michigan seeks a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to pick up returns and cores. You will drop off sales flyers, collect credits, and build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights gained on deliveries.

You will assist in upselling and cross‑selling products to increase average transaction value, maintain stock and store cleanliness, and engage with walk‑in customers to recommend parts

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures.
• Basic math for transactions and inventory checks.
• Read and interpret parts catalogs to assist customers.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross‑selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk‑in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
