Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, promote sales programs and assist with daily credit account collection. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while supporting upselling and cross-selling activities.

The role requires maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels, with flexibility across days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
