Advance Auto Parts Inc. in St. Louis is seeking a Parts Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and returns, while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and contribute insights gained while delivering orders. This role requires leveraging knowledge of inventory and new arrivals to assist sales, engaging walk-in customers to assess needs, and supporting upselling and cross-selling efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
