Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Chadbourn, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and walk-in customers.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts, upsell where appropriate, and maintain store cleanliness while handling daily credit collections. You will operate delivery systems, learn product inventory, and represent the company by delivering exceptional service and promoting current sales and loyalty programs to drivers

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
Pick up returns and cores
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
Daily collection of credit accounts
Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
Other duties as assigned
