Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Statesville, NC is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver auto parts to pro customers and to upsell and assist walk-in shoppers. You will maintain inventory knowledge, stock shelves, and help ensure a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires safe driving, strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to communicate effectively. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read safety rules and operating instructions
• Able to use the delivery board system
• Read and interpret safety docs, catalogs and manuals
• Basic math skills for transactions and measurements
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques

Responsabilités

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services
