Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver in Ohio to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to professional customers while maintaining store standards.

The role includes handling returns, promoting sales and loyalty programs, and supporting credit processes. You will build strong relationships with Pro customers, assist in upselling, and keep knowledge current on inventory and new arrivals to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
