Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Salem, OH is seeking a Parts Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to pick up returns, while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will also handle daily credit account collection and support upselling activities. The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• English language skills required; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math skills.

Responsabilités

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
