Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and support weekly promotions and loyalty programs. The role requires a clean driving record and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

You will engage with customers, upsell where appropriate, and maintain inventory knowledge. The position involves physical duties including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional up to 100 pounds

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements
• Willing to work varied shifts including weekends
• Willing to learn about products and sales techniques

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals
• Other duties as assigned
