Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Moyock, NC is seeking a dedicated Parts Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to assist with daily credit account collections. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, help upsell products, and keep the store clean and stocked. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and accurate stock management while supporting loyalty programs and promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read safety rules and procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
