Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring for a Loader role at our Glen Allen, VA location. The associate will assist customers, load merchandise, and support store operations from checkout to large order fulfillment. Training includes power equipment use and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include serving Pro and Garden Center customers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate order loading and pickup readiness. Benefits and growth opportunities are available for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently
• Load customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size, weight, and fulfillment needs
• Ensure orders are loaded accurately while maintaining product quality and safety standards
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management
