Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a delivery and customer service associate in a retail setting in the United States (Maryland - Hagerstown region).

You will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers, upsell products, and maintain clean, organized stores while building strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to walk, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; build relationships with customers and team.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, catalogs and procedures.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Be available to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Confident in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores and manage stock movement.
• Promote current sales and loyalty programs in the field.
• Daily collection of credit accounts and maintain relationships with customers.
• Assist upselling and cross-selling to increase order value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and prep for daily operations.
• Stock and organize back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage walk-in customers and recommend appropriate parts or services.
