Job summary

The role requires reading schematics, performing both through-hole and SMD soldering, and documenting repairs with attention to accuracy. On-site work hours apply; training can be provided for our Pro Audio and lighting equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level.
• Diagnose switching power supplies and amplifier circuits.
• Identify defective ICs, MOSFETs, transistors, diodes, capacitors and other components.
• Repair and rework PCBs.
• Perform through-hole and SMD soldering.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies and other diagnostic equipment.
• Read schematics and service documentation.
• Perform functional testing after repairs.
• Document diagnosis, repairs performed and parts used.
• Maintain an organized repair workstation.
