Job summary

DESIGNA Access Corporation seeks an Electronics Bench Repair Technician to diagnose and repair electronic devices at the component level. You will ensure products meet quality standards and are repaired efficiently, supporting customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on repair of circuit boards and power supplies, proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering, and the ability to read schematics. In-person work in Houston, TX, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of experience in electronic repair, including circuit boards and power supplies.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other diagnostic tools.
• Strong soldering skills (SMD and through-hole).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices, circuits, and components.
• Perform testing and calibration of repaired equipment using standard tools and procedures.
• Analyze schematics, technical manuals, and other documentation to identify issues.
• Solder and desolder components, including surface-mount devices (SMD) and through-hole parts.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and time spent.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
• Assist with inventory management of spare parts and tools.
