Job summary

Akumin in Deltona, FL is seeking a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and assist licensed practitioners in exams. You will administer ionizing radiation, ensure image quality, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation while providing patient-centered care.

This role requires ARRT (R) license where applicable, CPR/BLS, and flexibility to cover shifts across locations. Strong customer service and multitasking skills are essential to support our radiology teams.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) license required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Ability to work at several locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images for medical interpretation.
• Administer ionizing radiation for exams per physician orders.
• Assist licensed practitioners during diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain high image quality and proper patient positioning.
• Train and orient new technologists and staff as needed.
• Comply with HIPAA and site policies.
