Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist for the Deltona facility. You will produce diagnostic radiographs, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and quality images in accordance with regulations.

The role requires ARRT certification, state license if applicable, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver’s license with local travel ability. Prior X-ray experience is preferred; flexibility for per-diem coverage is essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification as applicable.
• State license, if applicable, required.
• Driver's license and ability to travel locally.
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills and HIPAA aware.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered.
• Operate X-ray equipment and ensure image quality meets standards.
• Communicate with radiologists and patients to address questions.
• Maintain records in EMR/PACS/DICOM systems and ensure confidentiality.
• Assist with training new staff and participate in site competencies.
