Job summary

Akumin is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a PRN position at our Royal Palm facility. The role requires strong patient communication, precise imaging, and proficiency with imaging software.

You will work across multiple environments, including freestanding centers, mobile coach, or hospital-based settings, delivering high-quality imaging care. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR/BLS (AHA/ARC); ACLS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate competency with different X-ray equipment and communicate with patients/radiologists.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and ensure patient safety.
• Utilize EMR, PACS, and DICOM for image sharing and interpretation.
• Train new technologists and patient coordinators; complete ongoing education and site competencies.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
