Job summary

Akumin is hiring a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist for our West Palm Beach facility. The role requires producing diagnostic radiographs and supporting the licensed practitioner with exams; you must be proficient with EMR systems and imaging sharing protocols.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT (R), a state license if applicable, CPR/BLS, and ACLS where required, with a willingness to cover shifts in a per-diem model and travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images as ordered by the physician.
• Administer ionizing radiation following legal requirements and institutional policy.
• Maintain quality and accuracy of exams; document procedures and equipment competency.
• Train and orient new technologists and staff as needed.
