Job summary

Akumin in West Palm Beach is hiring a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and produce high-quality images for interpretation, under licensed supervision, while following safety standards and policies.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, ARRT (R), state license if applicable, CPR/BLS; ACLS where applicable. Preferred: Associate’s Degree and 1 year of X-ray experience. Per-diem, flexible scheduling with eligibility for benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification and state license if applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams as ordered.
• Ensure safety and radiation protection for patients and staff.
• Maintain high-quality images and documentation per policy.
• Operate EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems for image sharing.
• Provide coverage and assist licensed practitioners as needed.
