Job summary

The Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for PRN weekend staffing with potential for additional shifts.

The PT will assess referred patients, create and administer treatment plans, supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Tennessee with active registration.
• Experience supervising PT Assistants.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Develop and administer treatment programs with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional standards.
