Job summary

UCF Lake Nona Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform high-frequency ultrasound exams across general, OB/GYN, and vascular studies. The role requires ARDMS certification with RVT preferred and involves operating imaging equipment, adhering to ACR protocols, and collaborating with radiologists.

Responsibilities include managing the workflow with PACS to create permanent exam records and assisting the radiology team as needed, while ensuring sterile technique where required

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS); RVT preferred.
• Vocational School Graduate in Diagnostic Imaging.
• 1 year of experience, required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams (general, OB/GYN, vascular) to help detect pathology.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and follow ACR protocols and radiologist guidelines.
• Manage workflow and PACS to ensure a permanent record; assist radiologists when needed.
