Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech/OR Technician to support operating room teams in Cape Coral, FL. You will assist surgeons, nurses, and staff by preparing sterile fields, passing instruments, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

The role requires enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technologist program and a current BLS certification, with prior clinical exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and actively completing an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist in preparing the operating room and establishing a sterile field.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with specimen handling and post-procedure care.
• Follow regulations related to patient care and surgical services.
