Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking qualified staff for the Surgery Center Clemmons location. The role supports registered nurses by preparing operating rooms, stocking sterile supplies, and ensuring aseptic technique for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care under RN guidance, managing instruments and supplies, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. OR experience is required, BCLS certification is needed, and a specialty certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or from an accredited school of Nursing.
• OR experience is required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Prepares and stocks the Operating Room before and after surgery.
• Gathers clean and sterile supplies and sets up sterile instrument fields.
• Maintains aseptic techniques and clean instrumentation.
• Communicates effectively with the team and patients.
