Job summary

Wake Forest Ambulatory Ventures LLC - Surgery Center in Clemmons, NC is seeking a surgical support professional. You will render care to assigned patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse, assist with direct patient care activities, and prepare the Operating Room before and after surgery.

The role requires graduation from a Surgical Technology program or an accredited Nursing program, plus OR experience and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or from an accredited school of Nursing.
• OR experience is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required; certification in a specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Prepares and stocks the Operating Room before and after surgery.
• Gathers clean and sterile supplies; sets up sterile instrument fields.
• Maintains and monitors aseptic techniques.
