Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking personnel to render care under RN supervision, assisting with direct patient care, prepping and stocking the Operating Room, gathering sterile supplies, and maintaining sterile instrument fields.

Position requires Graduation from Surgical Technology or Nursing program, OR experience, and BCLS certification with specialty area preferred; on-site surgery center at Clemmons, NC with 4-10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or from an accredited school of Nursing.
• OR experience is required.
• BCLS certification required; specialty area certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Prepares and stocks Operating Room before and after surgery; gathers supplies.
• Sets up sterile instrument fields and maintains aseptic techniques.
