Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN coverage at our facility in the United States. The role involves evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with families, physicians and the health team to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include documentation, staff training, and adherence to facility and state guidelines. Candidates must have a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure; CFY supervision may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters or Doctorate preferred.
• Proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care for documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs per physician orders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and functional independence.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care as applicable.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
