Job summary

NeuroRestorative, a part of Sevita, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN position servicing Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. Bring your clinical skills to a team-focused organization dedicated to meaningful rehabilitation.

The role involves direct therapy, evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination with physicians and caregivers to maximize patients\' communication, swallowing, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
• At least 1 year of experience in speech therapy.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in rehabilitation of individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
• Review medical records, test and evaluate individuals, develop treatment plans, and administer therapy.
• Provide evaluations, documentation, and communication of medical information.
• Assess speech and language skills, articulation, voice and fluency disorders.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate therapy plans with coordination to the physician.
• Identify intervention strategies; review medical data to determine effectiveness.
• Instruct individuals, family members, and caregivers as needed to ensure optimal functioning.
• Coordinate home care services through documentation and data transfer.
• Review and document comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Report and record assessments, interventions, and patient changes.
• Investigate and address concerns/complaints.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe patient environment.
