Job summary

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges.

In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs and administers speech therapy using techniques that assist in rehabilitation of individuals with speech, language, voice and swallowing.
• Reviews medical records, tests and evaluates clients, develops treatment plans and administers therapy.
• Provides evaluations, documentation, and communication of medical information.
• Assesses speech and language skills, development, articulation, and voice and fluency disorders.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized therapy plans; coordinates modifications with the Director of Clinical Services and physician.
• Instructs clients, family members, and caregivers to ensure maintenance or attainment of optimal functioning.
