Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN opportunities in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves comprehensive evaluations across cognitive-communication, swallowing, voice, speech, hearing, and language, with treatment planning, patient education, and thorough documentation under physician oversight.

Responsibilities include videofluoroscopic swallow studies, developing treatment plans with physicians, and educating families.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff and physicians.
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP license in Tennessee is required.
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of cognitive-communication, swallowing, voice, speech, hearing and language.
• Develop plans of care, provide treatments, educate patients and families.
• Document patient care and communicate with physicians.
• Complete videofluoroscopic swallow studies per policy and procedure.
• Create and implement effective treatment programs in consultation with physicians.
• Deliver care according to Speech-Language Pathology standards.
