Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and manage the plan of care. You will conduct swallowing studies, develop treatment plans in coordination with physicians, and educate patients and families while documenting care per standards.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, TN licensure, and BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP license in Tennessee is required.
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of cognitive-communication, swallowing, voice, speech, hearing, and language as ordered by physicians.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
• Conduct bedside swallowing evaluations and other assessments and relay results to the healthcare team.
