Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN opening at Greenbrier Healthcare Center in Parma Heights. Our therapists are in-house team members delivering direct, resident-centered therapy to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.

The role offers opportunities to work across multiple locations with a focus on continuity of care, professional growth, and a supportive rehab team. A degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology (valid or pending).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen residents' medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers in speech practice and safe swallowing techniques.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and participate in family education sessions.
