Job summary

CommuniCare Health is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Greenbrier Healthcare Center in Parma Heights, OH. The role involves evaluating residents, developing and directing therapy plans, and coordinating with the rehab team.

You will educate residents and families on communication and swallowing strategies, and may work at multiple locations to meet resident needs. The position offers flexibility and part-time PRN scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid or pending State SLP license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patients' medical charts; develop treatment plans.
• Plan and conduct rehabilitative programs for communication, swallowing, and cognitive issues; administer tests.
• Instruct residents and families on exercises, diet, and swallowing safety; provide education.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and participate in family education; may treat at multiple locations.
