Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Boardman, OH is seeking a Part-Time PRN Speech Language Pathologist for Greenbriar Healthcare Center. In-house team member providing therapy to residents, with opportunities to work at multiple locations in Ohio.

Flexibility for a PRN schedule and continuity of care are emphasized. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid or pending state license.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech-Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen residents' medical charts and evaluations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, and cognition.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings and communicate findings to rehab team and families.
