Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Greenbrier Healthcare Center in Parma Heights, OH. The role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering rehabilitation to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.

The SLP will work with families and caregivers, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and support care continuity across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's and/or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patients' medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan and direct rehabilitative therapy to improve communication, swallowing, and cognition.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and practice new skills and safe swallowing techniques.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and collaborate with the rehab team.
