Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our team. The position requires at least 8 hours per month to maintain active employment and involves working with senior residents in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain before starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing disorders and communication or cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop comprehensive therapy plans based on clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services as part of a coordinated care team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plans of care.
• Deliver one-on-one sessions with a functional-based treatment approach.
