Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Indianola, IA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to assess and treat residents with speech and swallowing disorders. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient care.

Licensed SLP in-state is required, with CFY/CCC preferred. This role offers flexible scheduling, daily earnings, and opportunities for mentorship within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required per state licensure.
• Must be licensed as Speech-Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY in progress preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required where applicable.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications including BLS.

Responsibilities

• Administers speech and language evaluations and plans treatments for residents.
• Provides services and monitors progress for patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
• Documents progress and complies with standards, policies, and regulations.
• Collaborates with nursing, therapy, social services and families for outcomes.
• Supervises assistants or students as assigned and mentors peers.
