Job summary

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required per state licensure.
• Must hold licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CFY or completed) may be preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers speech and language evaluations and tests to diagnose and plan treatments.
• Develops individualized treatment plans for clients with speech, language, cognitive or swallowing disorders.
• Provides speech and language services and monitors progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Provides education, supervision to peers, and collaborates with care teams.
