Job summary

Concept Rehab, Inc. is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team at a skilled nursing facility in Johnston, Iowa. This role offers exceptional flexibility and the opportunity to provide high-quality speech therapy services.

The SLP evaluates and treats residents with communication, cognitive, swallowing, and speech disorders, while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to maximize outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Current Iowa licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing therapy services.
• Complete accurate documentation, progress notes, and billing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team.
