The role focuses on evaluating and treating swallowing and communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a clinical team to deliver high-quality care to senior residents. The position emphasizes a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k),

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs based on full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one on one with private, functionally-based treatment sessions.
