Job summary

Legacy Village of Cleveland is offering a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity. The role emphasizes a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements and includes bonus eligibility and a robust benefits package.

The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with swallowing disorders, speech and cognitive impairments, and will participate in clinical conferences while delivering individualized care in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in speech-language pathology.
• Current state license as an SLP or ability to obtain before starting employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP treatment programs after full evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to residents under medical orders as part of a team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care.
• Deliver private one-on-one sessions with a functional-based approach.
