Job summary

Memorial Home Services is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist/Technician to support the Sleep Center under the clinical director. Responsibilities include conducting polysomnography, patient education and post-test data review, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

Positions require an accredited associate degree in polysomnography or equivalent experience, with ongoing CME/CEU participation and CPR/BCLS certification. Full-time daytime schedule with weekend rotation is included.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography.
• Polysomnography program of no less than one year duration or equivalent experience with proficiency in competencies.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
• Explain pre-testing, testing and post-testing procedures to the patient.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing and apply electrodes/sensors.
• Follow polysomnographic procedures and document sleep stages, events and data accuracy.
• Demonstrate safety, infection control and compliance with applicable standards.
