Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist/Technician to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under clinical direction. You will perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and education for patients, with a 2:1 patient-to-technologist ratio under standard conditions.

The role requires an accredited education in polysomnography, appropriate licensure/certification, and commitment to ongoing CME.

Qualifications

• Education: associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography or 1-year polysomnography program; licensure/certification in sleep technology.
• Non-registered: complete A-Step Online Self Studies within 2 years of enrollment.
• Must become registered in sleep (RPSGT/RST) within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify patient needs and determine testing parameters with the ordering physician.
• Prepare and calibrate testing equipment; apply electrodes and sensors per standards.
• Perform polysomnographic data acquisition and monitor study quality; score sleep stages and clinical events.
