Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You’ll help with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support psycho-social needs per each resident’s plan of care.

Experience in long-term care is required; travel to facilities within 75 miles is expected, with a minimum of 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift monthly. Premium pay listed in benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Travel to support multiple locations within 75-mile radius of permanent address.
• Minimum of 30 hours per month and one weekend shift per month.

Responsibilities

• The Medication Assistant provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse.
• Assists with daily living activities: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.
• Supports residents with transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate according to the care plan.
