Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant to support residents at Mandan Sunset in Mandan, ND. The role provides nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse, with varying shifts and PRN scheduling.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and provide psycho-social support per care plans, including transfers and mobility assistance as needed. Premium pay applies for hours, weekends, and evenings.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Record vital signs and support psycho-social needs as per plan of care.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking as appropriate.
