Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND, is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision. The MA delivers age-appropriate care and supports residents with activities of daily living in a Christian, not-for-profit setting.

Requires 3 months LTC experience (6 months preferred). Schedule is PRN with minimum 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month; travel to nearby locations within 75 miles may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Minimum of 30 hours per month.
• One weekend shift per month.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse.
• Delivers age-appropriate care, including activities of daily living and psychosocial support.
• Assists with basic health care needs, such as bathing, toileting, grooming and vital signs.
