Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem (PRN) shifts. You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate patient teaching, and work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.

Must have at least 1 year of RN experience to qualify; BLS/ACLS preferred; BSN preferred; self-scheduling offered; benefits and opportunities to grow within a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact
• BLS or ACLS preferred or required within 6 months of hire
• CCRN/PCCN/NIH Stroke certifications preferred
• BSN preferred; 1 year RN experience required; new grads considered
• Per diem/PRN shift availability and flexibility

Responsabilités

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment and creates a plan of care.
• Administers medications safely per policy and procedure.
• Serves as point of contact for care coordination across departments.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborates with spiritual care, palliative care, and ethics teams.
• Maintains patient advocacy and family communication throughout care.
• Manages care for patients with complex conditions and multi-system needs.
