Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care (Step Down) unit at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH. This full-time night position requires strong assessment, leadership, and care coordination to bridge Med-Surg and ICU.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications safely, and contribute to quality improvement. BSN preferred; current Ohio RN license; BLS/ACLS where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• BSN preferred or higher.
• BLS or ACLS certification preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Serve as the point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policies and state practice.
