Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, OH, seeks an RN to support ophthalmology surgeries. You will rotate through pre-operative, intraoperative and post-operative phases, with training for circulating and scrubbing roles in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting during procedures and delivering postoperative care and education. Orientation includes a six-month OR training program tailored to experience and pace.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification at time of hire; ACLS if performing moderate/procedural sedation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and assist during ophthalmic procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating roles in the OR.
• Provide post-operative care and patient education.
